Has Norton disabled, turning off auto updates?

Hi Norton Community.

 The Norton icon in the gadget bar goes orange every three or four days but recently it has not for possiblely seven to ten days or more but when I checked the last virus definition update it shows the 25/05/2013 20:06:11 and says 2 days ago and not 3 days as today is 28/05/2013 19:40:00.  Has anyone else notice this or can check their latest virus definition date and did it go orange to request manual intervention?  I have and have had for a long time, turned off all automatic updates.

  

To check last virus definition date, click on the Norton icon, click advanced, under computer protection click on days ago.

Hi Norton Community

On the 30 May 2013 the Norton desktop icon changed from green to orange, so my thoughts on an update bug are probably wrong, maybe it just happens to be the longest time that I can remember for the icon changing from green to orange.

But one thing still bothers me is that with all updates turned off I still got updates as I wrote in the previous post.
