Beta.  That is the reason why it does not work; N.I.S. is not really made for I.E. 08 yet because it is in Beta and would advise in installing I.E. 07.

What N.I.S. are you using?

I agree with Floating_Red’s statement. non of the NIS versions will support IE in a beta version as the coding for the software may change causing errors and bugs in NIS. Once IE 8 comes out of beta Norton will more then likely release an update to include IE 8.

No support for beta. Beta means use at your own risk. Use Firefox and not Internet Explorer. Firefox is 100 times safer and faster.

The User clearly wants to use I.E.; demanding things is not the way to go about things.

The user wants to use IE beta I beg to differ. I am not demanding he use Firefox but its a proven fact that its safer then IE.

The shut down feature on Kasersky will alert you as soon as the computer is turned back on if they are any problems. Say I ran a scan and then didn’t come home for 2 days I wouldn’t want my computer staying on all that time. The reason that I got NIS 2009 is because I heard that N360 slowed your computer somewhat.
