HELP RECEIVED EMAIL in response to my question from norton

HELP, I WAS sent an email regarding NORTON ADVANCED THREAT PROTECTION. BEFORE THIS, i sent an email letting them know i should already have this in my norton 360 with lifelock and shouldnt have to pay more for it. anyway i had no idea that this person would write me back, i was complaining that any protection should already be taken care of when we purchase what i purchased esp if we have lifelock. otherwise what is the purpose of having lifelock of somehow there isnt advanced threat protection ALREADY. life lock would have to pay up to a certain amount IF anyone got through. it didn tmake sense to me. then in this email below SENT TO ME FROM NORTON....which i hope is a SCAM.....that i will not be charged $399 dollars soon. i already paid this year and i looked at my norton account and i paid in march 2021. so it doesnt expire until next year in 2022 same month. my norton is still active and not expired...and I DO NOT WANT TO PAY THAT HUGE AMOUNT OF 399.00. THAT IS WAY MORE THAN I CAN AFFORD. SO PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS EMAIL AND LET ME KNOW IF THIS IS INDEED YOU ...NORTON 360 LIFELOCK...TALKING TO ME...IF IT IS YOU THEN STOP WHATEVER THIS IS ...I WANT TO MAKE MY DECISION ...I DONT WANT TO HAVE ANYONE MAKING THAT FOR ME...IF ITS NOT YOU THEN PLEASE FIND OUT WHO IS DOING THIS AND STOP THEM....EITHER WAY PLZ GET BACK WITH ME....i want to remove my PAYMENT INFO ON MY ACCOUNT. I ALWAYS USE NORTON BUT I DONT LIKE KEEPING MY PAYMENT INFO ON THE ACCOUNT. I WANT TO KEEP WHAT I PAID FOR AND DECIDE WHAT PAYMENT I WANT TO USE. I WILL BE AWAITING YOUR REPLY...THANK YOU   VICKIE CLOUD   PLZZZ SEE BELOW...THIS IS WHAT THEY SENT TO ME..

This is just a scammer. Do not engage with the scammer in any way. There is no way to know who is sending this due to the 'anonymity' provided by the internet and being able to open free email accounts that you can use for a day or to and then abandon.

There are probably millions of people that get these emails sent to them. Some may not see them depending on the spam filters their ISP is using. And they are not just sent as a Norton email. The spammers use any subscription based product and just send out these email blasts hoping to get someone to reply. If you do reply, the kind of scam you are seeing tries to get you to give them your banking information so they can 'refund your money'. Then they use that information to withdraw money from your account(s). They have no way of even knowing what products you use. I received this kind of spam for a McAfee subscription. I have never had a McAfee product on any of my systems.

Image previewi received this today ...when i first received the other i posted above...about thinking it was you regarding this renewal thing..i sent an email telling them i checked my norton and i didnt renew for this huge amt of money and i have no bill due now or later for this amt...well, here is their answer to that....above......maybe you can figure this out ..who is doing this and see if you can stop this....i wonder how many other people are getting these...i surely will not respond to this....but i wanted you to see what i got today....

100% a scam as you have noted.

I'd suggest ... do not reply to "Scam" emails.
