I have Norton Internet Security version 19-9.1.4 running on three computers because (like others) I will not trust my data on a cloud with the newer versions. The version works perfectly on three computers. Last night during the renewal of my Norton product the system refused to renew on one of my computers. It says my Norton "trial" (?) has expired and it wants me to upgrade. I will NOT upgrade to any version that forces me onto the cloud. I still have the original file for the old product on an external drive but there is something somewhere (assuming the registry) that is telling the computer that this file is a trial disk. Its not. Its a program I paid for and downloaded from Norton years ago. Does anyone know how to sweep the registry so my older Norton product will recognized the product key again which I paid for and currently have on my Norton account page?
Or ... Does anyone know of another company who provides a program that allows a person to save passwords and credit card data in a local vault instead of someone else's computer (oops I mean a pretty white puffy innocent cloud) ?
Thanks
