Hi,
Recently I’ve been unable to use an applet in Java which allows me to use a programme called Chibi-paint on a website. Each time I try to access the programme a security warning pops up and alerts me that the application was unsafe and has been blocked. I’ve personally used Chibi-paint for years and I know it’s a safe and reliable programme.
I have no idea how to unblock the application and have tried everything in my know-how.
Is there anyone who can help?!
cheers

Welcome,
Have you looked in your 360 history files to fond the program so you can allow it?
Also, you might want to submit it here
http://www.symantec.com/business/security_response/submitsamples.jsp
or
https://submit.symantec.com/antifraud/phish.cgi
for the team to evaluate. If it is a false positive they can make the necessary correction in an update.
Another possibility is to go here
https://www.virustotal.com/
and allow that site to check out the program.
Keep us posted
Hi Fairwood1111,
You don't say what program is giving you the security warning. Insofar as Java itself has tightened its criteria for allowing only safe programs to run, I am betting the alert you are seeing is coming from Java and can be remedied by changing your Java security settings as discussed here:
How do I control when an untrusted applet or application runs in my web browser?
