a couple days ago i downloaded and installed a program via facebook (to earn some chips for a poker game) and Internet Security instantly recognized it and warned me not to install it. but like the moron i am, i "installed it anyway". i immediately uninstalled it but i fear it might've been too late. nothing big but my laptop is taking FOREVER to start up and shut down now.
i've ran a million anti-spyware programs and nothing's been found but i fear it might've been something different and/or tweaked my registry.
i've lost a lot of sleep over this.
so how can i locate it in the history whre i installed a possible malicios program? i don't remember precisely what it was but i want to know why norton found it to be a risk so i can pssibly make up for it and take some actions if need be.
thoughts?
