Holding your Card Ransom

Anyone else tired of having to put your card information. So Norton can hold it hostage and not remove it without deleting the service you paid for. I bought mine at Best Buy not close to what Norton will try to Charge me come the renewal. Norton is starting to violate peoples payment information by holding it hostage. Anyone else sick of having to put a card. When no card is needed. You will never charge me the adsorbent amount Norton will try to charge me. Amazing that inflation has afected programmers who make keystrokes. I need to find another option. Norton is starting to be to greedy for my pockets.

Hello @Lon_Ballou
Hmm…is this a new policy? I’ve recently tested billing information removal.
fwiw ~ my Norton account has no personally identifiable information.

Users may cancel recurring subscription service and remove billing information.
Your protection will continue through the end of your current paid term.

As bjm_ says, removing the billing information will not stop any current subscriptions from working until expiry. You will need to disable the automatic renewal before you can remove the payment information.
