Please tell me how to activate Antivirus in D drive when it is already installed in C drive. I have windows installed in D drive also. Please tell me whether I have to copy the entire package to D drive or it can be installed directly on D, importing some set-up file from C.

I don't know what installation file I had used. I had not used it knowingly. It was all automatic install after download from Norton website. I have key number in my Email.
Please specify which file from which folder in C I have to copy in D.
It is important to answer the question asked: do you have a multiboot system with a version of Windows on each of two drives?
If you do and you want to have protection for whichever you version you boot up to then you need to make two installations of NAV.
There is no problem in doing this if you have a version of NAV that is valid for installation on more than one PC.
Is that what you have or do you have a single installation of Windows on Drive D: but Norton installed itself on drive C: ?
If that is the case and you want Norton just on drive D: then when you install Norton there is a screen which tells you where Norton is going to be installed and asks if that is OK or if you want to change it -- click on the Browse button.
Please tell us the version(s) of Windows you have and the version of NAV -- Year and Version ID which is in Help / About in the format nn.nn.nn.nnn
So please tell up more about your computer and your NAV and then we can help you -- gurus are volunteers appointed by Norton to help other users but no-one can help you without more information.
Since this is a user to user help forum it is unlikely that the Mods will have an answer to your question. Generally speaking, they are here to operate the forum
It could be a while before a Symantec employee with knowledge in thei particular area arrives, and the same question will need to be answered.
If you search your C drive for folders named Norton, you will find one that has something similar to NAV-17-0-0-136.exe. Copy this folder to the same location on the D drive, boot to that OS and run the exe file. You will need the key from your email so you may have to write it down first unless you have access to your email from D drive / OS. Or you can go online and get it from your account at www.mynortonaccount.com .
By default, the Norton installation will take the C:\drive as the location for installing the Norton program. If you want to change that, you need to perform the following steps when you start the installation.(screenshots in the attached )
- Start the installation.
- In the Norton Setup window, click Install Options.
- Click Browse and select the drive/folder where you want to install the Norton program, and then click OK.
- Click OK, and then follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
Now, if you want to change the drive, you need to first uninstall the current Norton program using Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel. Then again download the installation file and start the installation. Follow the above steps to change the location.
Please note that if you remove the program from C: drive, that OS (if this is a dual boot system) would no longer be protected when you boot to the C drive OS. Just for your information.....
