Issue abstract:
Detailed description: My internet frequently is down and I used to be able to choose Run Backup at any time. I don’t see anything like that with the new version
Product & version number: Norton 360 Deluxe
OS details: Windows 10
What is the error message you are seeing? No error message. I just can’t find option I want.
If you have any supporting screenshots, please add them:
After one sets up a new backup profile, is the first backup 24 hours later?
Is the directly created N360_NORTONBACKUP?
And after the backup starts, are file changes only updated at the end of a 24 hr period? In other words, if you make multiple changes to a file, the only one saved is the last one after 24 hours?
Understand that only files that are change get backed up.
afaik ~ Norton has not shared minutia and I’ve not scrutinized minutia.
N360_BACKUP created with Local Backup
Automatically sync (as per Norton) backs up files every 24 hours. Norton has not shared whether 24 hour cycle is machine up time or 24 hour clock time.
User may manually run sync, as needed.
I imagine at the automatic sync time…whatever changes are at that time
