How can I test the "Data Protector" feature?

I am using Norton 360 v22.

How can I test if the “Data Protector” feature is working properly?

I configures a folder and specified to protect zip files. But when I used my own zip utility to modify the zip file in that folder, nothing popped up or prevented me from saving my modifications.

So, it seems like this feature is not working properly and obviously I would like it to work properly.

We’ll need v22 user/s to chime in.
