I just bought Norton Security Premium and have installed Norton Mobile Security from the Amazon App Store. In the corner of the screen of the app it says that I only have the lite version, and I can't find anywhere to sign in to my Norton account or put in a product key. Help would be appreciated.
You could download 1Mobile app (external link) which will work on Kindle fire & then browse to download the full version of Norton mobile security then you can activate it.
I have done this on Kindle Fire 2012.
If you tried the download from the Norton Mobile Security web site and it does not install on the Kindle, then there is nothing you can do. The Kindle uses a proprietary version of the Android OS that does not support a lot of the main stream Android apps. You will be stuck using the Lite version that is offered by Amazon for the Kindle.
If you did purchase Norton Security just for the Kindles, you could request a refund. Contact Norton Support via chat and explain your situation. www.norton.com/chat
The Norton Security for Amazon Kindle Fire is a download app (automatic download) from Amazon entitled Norton Mobile Security Lite without a Product Key. I purchased Norton Security Premium in order to have full security for my three (3) Kindled. I see I cannot. Note, I tried everything mentioned.
