How do I exclude a program from smart firewall?

I assume that it's under Settings -> Smart Firewall -> Program Rules -> Configure.  I can't know that because if I click on any of the configure buttons under "Smart firewall", it freezes the whole Norton Internet Security interface. I can still use right click menu parts of the toolbar application, but  the desktop box stops responding.

So, that's a problem.

I want to make Norton smart firewall accept League of Legends. So, if that's not the chain I need to follow, which is it?

um, other than norton interfering with league... no. Everything that I use runs pretty well: Steam et al., skype, RaidCall, Word.

Ran a full system scan. No threats. A couple tracking cookies in the last quick scan, but nothing overtly dangerous or insidious.

Hi, Scrawney. As per Tony Weiss announcement V 21.1.1.7 is available from the Update Center.

It is a full install which replaces your current version, and may well fix your current problem.

See Tony's post,  for instructions on how to update.

Hi, Scrawney.

The instructions that F4E was referring to can be found here: https://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-Internet-Security-Norton/Product-Update-21-1-1-of-Norton-Internet-Security-amp-Norton/td-p/1096119
