How do I register my new product on my Norton account?

It was a 2007 disk and it had a renewable subscription entitled for 3 computers in a house hold.

Is it possible that some other family member has been paying to renew the subscription each year?

No it is a subscription that lasts for ever. You just put in the key and the number of days resets.

Do I have to go back to version 1 since I can't renew the v4?

Hello person

We haven't heard of a subscription that lasts forever, at least I haven't. Is this a version from your ISP by any chance? The only type of subscription that I have heard about that never runs out would be one that is supplied by your ISP perhaps. Who is your ISP?

Your right i think my bro was paying for it but I just installed it like 3 weeks ago so why is the subscription running out so fast?

Hello person

If you brother paid for the subscription and he has a 3 user subscription and installed it on his computer, the countdown would start from the first day when it was installed on the first computer. Even though you just installed it recently, the count down started most likely when your brother installed it on his computer.

Ok thankyou I geuss this is solved but not the original question on how to get it on my account. But I geuss i don't really need it on there anymore because the subscrition costs too much.

Thanks for everything,

For goodness sake don't do without decent sucurity software -- it will cost you far more to repair your computer from an infections or to recover the loss of credit card or other personal information.

If you are in the USA you could get NIS 2010 for $30 and maybe $0 (depending on whether youqualify for the upograde rebate or not) if you check out the weekend flyers from the high street computer stores last weekend.

Symantec
Norton Int Sec 2010
Norton Internet Security 2010. Windows disc
1 PC 1 Year
$309/12/2010 -
9/18/2010
Price after $20 mail in rebate. $30 upgrade

The Key you get with this will work on the 2011 version you can download from the Norton website.

Hello person

If you say your subscription is almost up, that means your brother's subscription is almost up also. If he's been paying for it all along, then perhaps he will pay for it again.. If your brother is the one who paid for it and installed it first,  it may be listed on his account.. It can't be listed on your account and on his account for the same product.

Ok then i geuss this question is solved then! :smileyhappy: Thanks everyone for your help!
