How do I remove the hovering Norton logo?

Hi!

I recently installed Norton 360 on my Android smartphone and it keeps displaying this hovering yellow Norton logo which can be moved all over the screen but it never goes away. It is very annoying and does not even seem to do or signal anything. When I tap on it, nothing happens.

Any idea how to hide or uninstall it?? Any help will be greatly appreciated!

The hovering yellow Norton logo on your Android smartphone is an accessibility shortcut icon, not a notification or malware. It can be disabled through your phone’s system settings.

To remove the icon:

  1. Open your phone’s main Settings app.
  2. Scroll down and tap on Accessibility.
  3. Look for a section titled Installed apps or Installed services.
  4. Tap on Norton 360 Service (or just Norton 360).
  5. Locate the option for Norton 360 Service shortcut and turn the toggle to Off.
  6. You may also find a generic “Accessibility button” or “Floating button” option in the main Accessibility menu; ensure that is also off.

Disabling the shortcut will remove the floating icon from your screen while keeping the full Norton 360 service running in the background for your protection.
