OK a slight ballz up,turns out the disk i used was’nt a burned recovery disk but in actual fact was a backup copy of ghost which can be used as a live cd,so now i’m off to make a recovery disk & see what it is…lol…
I have ghost 12 which should be close enough to yours,ok to browse an image file you select "RUN RECOVERY POINT BROWSER" from the main ghost window, or just select each of the buttons in the left column till you find it,that'll let you have a gander at what's inside the imagefile. Now to install one it's necessary to create a recovery disk, click file in top left corner of the main ghost window,or wherever it's been placed, you're looking for "CREATE RECOVERY DISK" Once that's done shove it in the drive & reboot, you then select the task you want, you can browse to any drive where the images are kept, any other info will be in the help file,if your interested there's the radified forum that specialises in drive imaging, the place has saved my bacon on a number of occasions.
