How do I stop receiving alerts/search matches from a forum question I no longer need?

I no longer need notification of posts to A question I asked. But everything I try does not stop the email notices> Thank you

Hi,

If you go into your 'My Settings' and click on 'Subscriptions & Notifications' you can uncheck where necessary to stop all of the notifications

Hi,

 

If, while logged, in you click on My Settings on the top right hand corner of each page on this site and go to Subscriptions & Notifications, you should see any subscriptions you have.  Place a tick in them and click the Email Subscription Options link then you should be able to delete those subscriptions.
