How do I subscribe to the Product Update Announcements Blog?

As mentioned in another thread I started (about no longer getting the usual notifications that my Norton Security subscription will expire soon), I have also stopped getting emails from Norton about product updates.  (Nothing is getting caught in a spam filter.)  So I thought I'd try unsubscribing from the Product Update Announcements Blog and then re-subscribing.  I was able to unsubscribe with a single click, but I don't see how to (re)subscribe.  I do see a subscribe link on each individual product update announcement within the blog, but that's not what I'm trying to accomplish.

Any suggestions on the method for subscribing to the Product Update Announcement Blog?  I'm especially interested in updates for the product I have, Norton Security.  (I probably shouldn't be doing this so late...I have a feeling I'm missing something obvious. )  Thanks.

I am now getting email notifications from the Forums again (including *everything* I've subscribed to, including the Product Update Announcements Blog)!  About ten days ago Sunil_GA PM'd me that he was having the dev team look into it, so thanks to Sunil_GA and anyone else involved in fixing that.  Since this is really the underlying problem I was trying to solve in the first place (and re-subscribing to the Product Update Blog was just an attempt to fix it), I've switched the "solution" designation to this post.

Hi @Sunil_GA

Unfortunately I didn't receive an email notification for your post.  And I checked to ensure it  didn't go to spam.  (I did receive an email today from norton@secure.norton.com suggesting I enable automatic renewal.)

Thanks Krusty13!

Hi @Ardmore,

Can you please let us know if you receive an email notification for this comment?

Done!  Hopefully someone will be in touch soon.

Krusty13,

No, unfortunately I'm still still not receiving notification emails (e.g., did not receive a notification about your July 3 post).  This is despite doing the whitelisting you suggested trying.  Would really appreciate it if you could ask an Admin to check (or let me know how to submit a request).  Yes, I checked and nothing is going to Spam.

Thanks,
Ardmore

@Ardmore,

Just checking whether you're receiving notification emails now.  Please let us know.  If not we may have to ask an Admin to check up on it for you.

Have you checked your Junk / Spam folder?

Thanks.

Thanks for the suggestions.  I went to test whether ABP might be the add-on causing the issue.  To ensure I was still having the problem, I unsubscribed from the Product Update blog, then restarted Firefox with all add-ons (including ABP) still enabled.  But surprisingly everything was now working fine:  After getting into the blog, the orange Options button was there, and did offer me a subscribe option.  No need for Firefox Safe Mode or testing disabling ABP.  Must have been a temporary issue.

Thanks for the suggestion about whitelisting notifications@community.nortonlifelock.com .  I'll try it, although I see that I did receive some emails from no-reply@nortonlifelock.com, as I tried temporarily changing the email address on my Norton Account to fix the issue of no longer getting email notifications of posts to the Product Update blog or any threads I'm subscribed to (unfortunately that didn't help).

If I had to guess I would suggest maybe a filter in ABP.  You could try temporarily disabling ABP on this site to see if that helps.

For your forum emails, try whitelisting this email address in your email client or provider.

notifications@community.nortonlifelock.com

One of the Forum Admin recently suggested that to me as that is the new email address the forum sends notifications from.

Krusty13,

I was a little late in seeing tyour reply because I'm still not getting email notifications from Norton anymore .

I'm using using AdBlock Plus as my ad blocker.  My complete list of Firefox add-ons:
Adblock Plus
Autoplay No More
Close All Tabs Button
Don't track me Google
Facebook Container
Flagfox
Google search link fix
Honey
I don't care about cookies
Norton Safe Web
Print/Print Preview
Printable -- The Print Doctor
Send Link from context menu
SingleFile
Smart Referer

@Ardmore,

Do you use an adblocker like uBlock Origin?  Or maybe NoScript?

Thanks Krusty.  That led me to discovering a solution.  That orange(ish) button wasn't showing up for me, even when logged in, in Firefox 68.10esr. (I should have specified my browser originally.)  I thought maybe one of my add-ons was interfering, so I restarted Firefox in Safe Mode, which is a quick way to disable all add-ons.  Then the button showed up, and I was able to re-subscribe to the product updates blog in the manner you show.  Interestingly, now when I log on even *without* disabling any add-ons, the button shows up (but offers an unsubscribe option instead of subscribe).  (I didn't go through the exercise of disabling add-ons one-by-one to determine which was the culprit, but might do that later.)

Hopefully that will goose something so that I start getting *any* emails from Norton again (about replies to subscribed threads, upcoming product expiration warnings, etc.), but I'm not real optimistic about that at this point.

EDIT: I notice that an add-on is apparently also interfering with the post Edit option.  I went to make a typo correction, and there was no Edit link until I went back to Safe Mode (which is what I am in as I type this).
