First of all, un-install Zone Alarm as there will be clashes which actually reduces your Protection.  You should only ever run one Security Product at any one time.

Secondly, if you mean Auto-Protect, go in to N.AV Options and click on Real-Time Protect and check Start Auto-Protect at system start-up.  If you mean a Full System Scan, there should be an option in Scheduled Tasks, which can be found in the Control Panel, or in your Norton Product at the Schedule a Scan.

For corporate edition products please visit the STN forums at http://forums.symantec.com  Please click on Endpoint Protection.

The forums you have currently posted in are geared towards Norton Consumer Products.

Thanks!

Thanks.

Al

About a week ago, something changed my computer settings so that at start-up, there is no doscan process, there is no vptray icon in the systems tray area, and my Zone Alarm did not automatically start.

I checked Zone Alarm, it turns out that for some reason, the load "zone alarm at start-up" became unchecked.  I re-checked it and it now starts at the computer start-up.

But how do I get the doscan to start at the computer start-up?  Is it necessary?  NAV is running in the background (RTVSCAN.exe) and does automatically start at computer start.  I just no longer get a doscan when I start my computer.  My version of NAV is the corporate edition 10.1.0.394.  I did a full scan with NAV, Ad-Aware, and Spybot and it came up clean.

Any help is appreciated.  Thanks

If I understand you correctly, you are running more than one AV program at the same time -- NAV and Zone Alarm (presumably a version that includes AV). This is known to risk complications with one interfering with the other.

The Corporate versions have a website of their own. I don't have the URL handy but I'm sure you can reach it via the Symantec website via the product you have and Support. If not someone should pop in with the URL.
