How Long for Rating Dispute Resolution?

Hello,

We are waiting patiently for a resolution for  the improper rating of our website http://www.wholesalexxxdvd.com. This forum was very helpful in helping to assist me in getting the green Norton Safe Web check to show up for our site at the root level domain http://www.wholesalexxxdvd.com and at the storefront on the sub-domain http://shop.wholesalexxxdvd.com.

Unfortunately, when we tried to get rated for the Buy Safe shopping cart icon we were improperly reviewed and told we could not get this rating because we lack a privacy policy. This however could not be further from the truth. Our privacy policy is listed within our terms and conditions and a link to it can be found at the footer of every page in our store front. Our privacy policy is here.

We originally received a reply from "Console_Ops" but this user no longer responds to any of my inquires or comments pointing to this oversight. We have submitted a request for review explaining this issue and it has been sometime without a response.

Is there anyway we can be assured that Norton has even received our dispute, or how long this process usually takes???

We have even contacted Buy Safe but although they say they reply to all inquiries within 1 business day it has now been 4.

The most upsetting part about this whole thing is that we were told we did not receive the rating for not having a Privacy Policy  published when we actually do, and our competitor avndvd.com has a privacy policy page with no published privacy policy at all (only a statement that reads "place here your privacy policy") and has somehow managed to skirt the appropriate steps and receive an unwarranted Buy Safe rating.

We would really like to know if there is anyway to see if our dispute was even received (because we received absolute no type of confirmation) and how long this rating dispute process actually takes.

I would greatly appreciate it if anybody may have any knowledge of this issue and what our next steps may be.

Kind Regards,

Anthony

Our SafeWeb Console Operations team is currently focussing on other responsibilities. As a result, they may not have had the bandwidth to respond. Sorry for the incovenience.

I'll be sure to check with the team on this.

 Hello Venkat_J ,

I look forward to hearing back from you. Thanks for this quick response.

Thank you for your patience Anthony!

I just heard from someone in the Console Operations team that a request has been placed to update the buysafe database. I'm not sure about the ETA for this. I'll let you know as soon as I hear from the team.

OK,

Console_OPs Rajesh-  previously stated it was updated in the Buy Safe database but was not reflecting in the Norton database. After he told me this he then responded with the reply that it was because we didn't have privacy policy, which we did and still do. It was from that point that I could no longer get a reply from him and initiated a rating dispute. Thanks for working with me. I hope we can get it resolved soon.

Best Regards,

Anthony

Thank you for the detailed explanation Anthony. I'll let you know as soon as I hear from him.

No problem. Thanks!

Congratulations Anthony!

Your site now has the shopping cart icon.

Our residesnt SafeWeb expert says that buysafe's automation tools had some issues picking up the link to the privacy policy in your Website. Upon your request, they had to manually check for this and provide the shopping cart icon. Sorry for the delay in getting this request processed and we really appreciate your patience.

I'm happy that our community could be of some help to you. In future, if you have any problems with our products/services, you know where to find us.
