How to attach a screenshot to a forum post?

Hello,

I just tried to post a forum message including shots of two Norton 360 screens, in hopes of getting an explanation.

The question would take WAY longer to describe (and to transcribe the text from the N360 screens) than it would to just upload a screenshot. But when I tried to Post my message, I got an error saying that the only valid file extensions for attachments are txt, log, and lue (whatever that is).

So, how can I get this image over to the folks on this Forum so that you can see what's going on?

Thanks!

UPDATE: OK, I discovered there's a tiny little icon halfway across the edit toolbar for this purpose. On to the "real" post now...

Hi JorgeA

Follow the excellent post by Yaso_Kuuhl here on how to post a screenshot

Hi md,

Eventually I did figure out how to do it -- the key lies in seeing that little tree icon, and knowing what it's for. But Yaso's tip is excellent anyway.  :smileyhappy:

The embarrassing thing is that I discovered that I'd already asked how to do this back in January!! I guess I don't have a problem with N360 often enough to remember how to do it. And that's a good sign.

Good to hear that you resolved the screenshot issue.

There is a specific Forum for questions about how to do things in the Forums -- Forum Feedback -- so I'll ask for your message to be moved over there or better exposure. You won't lose sight of it because a link will be left here.

Glad you worked it out ....
