I have been getting the run around for about an hour trying to get a refund for the automatic renewal that I did not authorized. The same thing happened to me last year, and I turned off the auto renewal last year. It’s pretty much impossible to talk to a live person about this. All the links take you to other links that are useless. Can someone from Norton please contact me so I can get this refunded, or I will open a paypal dispute and get it that way.

That happened to me exactly the same way.
In 2023, the subscription was renewed without any prior notice. I had to chat with the staff and managed to get a cheaper package.
I REMEMBERED I switched the auto-renewal off so that similar incident will not happen again. Towards end of 2024, my subscription is auto renewed and was charged an exorbitant amount. Chat online with staff stating I didn’t receive any email from company prior to renewal and I have the auto renewal turned off.
The staff stick with their story that an email was sent and it could have landed in my Junk Folder. I went to my account and there was no email either.
If I do received and knowing the price of the subscription fees, you think I am stupid enough to renew with that pricey package.
I am just fed up with everything, going to escalate to higher authority.

I’m having the same issue here. Each link above just takes me round on another circle of guides.
They each say ‘contact support’ which then brings me to more guides. I’m never given an email or a communication line.
How did you get to talk to someone?

I’m no the first to be illegally charged for a cancelled subscripting then!
6th January I got a confirmation email that I had cancelled my renewal.
22nd January GBP 129.98 was taken from my credit card.
THERE IS NO WAY TO CHAT or CONTACT NORTON. You just get sent around in circles.
Very sharp practice. I have had to now dispute the transaction with my credit card company, that has taken even more of my time and it can take 45 days.

This issue is resolved. The process of getting help/chat was tortuous though.
