Issue abstract:
Detailed description: I saved a backup copy to my hard drive prior to creating a new backup. Now, I can not delete it from my hard drive. My computer tells me to get permission from Administrator, but I am signed in as Administrator. I also tried using Norton Data Shredder, which appeared to complete the shredding but at the end the file was still on my hard drive. How can I delete this backup copy?

If you created this backup with your 360 backup feature, you should be able to delete it using the backup feature. Us the information in this Norton Support article.
I tried that first, but the set I copied (Default set) does not show a Manage or Delete option. It is still there in my Cloud which, having added a new backup a few days ago, is now full.
To just clear the backup set from your online backups, from the link above, use the option for Delete backup set from your Norton account. That will free up the space in your online backup storage.

I am sorry, Peter, I may have misunderstood, but I can’t see a “delete backup set” option on the Cloud backup dashboard for my Default backup set. There is only view files and restore. Am I missing something?

You are looking in the Backup settings in your 360 product. You need to sign into your Norton Account at www.norton.com .

Ah, I understand. I did not recognise the distinction between Norton Account and Norton 360. I have now deleted the Default backup set, thank you for your help.
