How do i remove viruses and etc once they are put into quarantine? When i click options to look at the threat in more detail, i have the option to restore it, or remove it "from history".
I want to delete these permanently from my computer.
The items in Quarantine are back-up copies of the File(s) that Norton products removes, in case it is a False Positive, or your O.S. starts to act funny when a File is Removed. If Removal was successful, either by the Virus Scanner or Norton AntiVirus Auto-Protect, then the File(s) is/are no longer on your system so, if you Remove the File from History, then that will be removing the back-up copy of the File(s).
