Hi there,
How can I delete the folder C:\N360_BACKUP and all its contents as it’s clogging up my hard drive and there’s barely any space left to save anything.
Thanks,
Robert

Hello @PDP13
Norton Security v22.x on my W10 box
N360_BACKUP is created with Norton backup to external drive.
N360_BACKUP is created with Norton backup to internal drive.
=====================================
I’ve been able to delete folder/files held by N360_BACKUP by changing file permissions.
I’ve needed to opt Give access to → Remove access
right click Folder/File → see menu item Give access to → then Remove access → then Stop sharing → then Change settings → then try Delete (you may see UAC prompt)
I’ve removed sharing but when I look at Network access all I see is the attached:
I can’t proceed beyond that. Any ideas, please?
Hmm…I’m not v22 now…v24 is different.
As I recall based on my pics. At Network access. I clicked Stop sharing.
Stop sharing → then Change settings
And you’re right clicking against N360_BACKUP folder?
And you’re Windows Admin user account?
Um, can you delete individual files in N360_BACKUP folder?
Um, try with Norton Tamper Protection temporarily off.
Turning off tamper protection solved it. Thank you!
Thanks!
How do you turn off Tamper Protection please as will not let me delete
I am V24
Hi there,
Make sue you’re logged into your Norton Account and then try and delete the directory.
That worked for me.
