Issue abstract: blocked websites

Detailed description: I have been using a website for 12 years or more without any problems. Norton insists that it is dangerous and tries to prevent me from using it. I click continue and i get through but every move forward or back causes the same message. Moving forward is OK, but reversing blocks. How can i find an option to prevent this block for my own trusted sites?
I have been trying to ind out what version i am running, but the suggestion is to click settings and the about option should appear. There is no such option on the webpage that emerges.
I must be honest that, while Norton is a great product, overall it is most frustrating when compared to the bitdefender user interface. Far more helpful info in 1 place. Shall return to them when my subscription comes up for renewal.
Also there is no direct contact with the company itself. The forum has not proven very helpful with my first request for help.
Hope this query will prove more helpful.

Sorry, all my How-To Contact Norton Support is Oops!
Please try:

When Norton blocks a web page, it is because it feels there is an issue that you need to be aware of. It is not going to give you a permanent bypass option until the detection has been fixed.

You can use the link in bjm_'s post above to report a false positive to report that site to Norton so they can recheck the site’s detection. You may have been able to trust the site in the past, but an update to the site may have added something that Norton feels is a threat.

It allows me to trust and continue, but i have to repeat that every time i perform a new search. While i appreciate Norton’s care, surely the risk is mine? (But then again i suppose the issue is why use proteection software at all…i guess).
Thanks for the response.
