My Windows 11 laptop came with 60 days of ‘360 for gamers’. When the trial finishes I do not want to necessarily continue with ‘gamers’, but I would like to use, say, plus or standard.
Does any one know if I am able to do that without the hassle of uninstalling and re-installing.
Does the renewal process at the end of the trial period allow for this?

it shouldnt be a issue, i would recomment using the rnr ( norton removal tool) after your subscription ends or when you get the standard or plus, and choose remove completely
than do the set up on the new one and sign in and should be good.
also recommend after you got all that updated run the auto correct ( in help than get support)
sometimes it will find a issue ( very common for me) and let that run
and of course the restarts
