Everyday I run LiveUpdate and get a "Patch Available" for product updates. I always run the update and the the next day I get the same "Patch Available" notification. I saw a post that said to turn off Fast Startup in Windows and reboot immediately after installing the patch, which I did. This worked for a few days but now it's doing it again and Fast Startup is still off. After rebooting I again check for updates and there are none. I've run this normally and as Administrator but no difference. I am running Windows 10 Pro with an AMD Ryzen 9 5900X Processor and 64 GB RAM.
I have the same problem on different computers, indeed the reboot switch wil help this but I discover that when you run the autofix tool , it finds one error when you reboot.
I've had this same problem for some time now, so you may want to try what I did to resolve this, certainly worked for me.
Go to the U.I. and click on 'settings', then under the antivirus tab select 'updates', and then select 'apply updates only on reboot' and hopefully you should be good to go and will stop seeing the repeated messages to apply patch now etc.
This looks similar to the issue I am seeing as well.
Seeing patch available after kicking off a Live Update but when doing a version check the web page says I have the latest version. Disabling fast statup, a few uninstall/reinstalls using the norton provided tool didn't fix it.
I've logged a support case for further investigation.
I have same if not simular problem with win 11, when patch is applied all windows icons normally flash of and on not happening and I do not know if the patch has been applied. An answer to this problem would be appreciated.
