I have begun getting this message:

Installation :: Restart Required
 

a few days ago, maybe around March 1st. I have Norton 360 and Utilities. Both are up to date.

I have followed the restart instructions and the message keeps popping up. What to do?

Also, be sure you are using the Restart command. Not Shutdown and startup again if you have Windows Fast Startup feature enabled. If you use Windows 8/8.1, 10 or 11, there can be an issue with the Windows Fast Startup feature.. See more information here.

Hello Max. Your build of Windows 10 is version 20H1 otherwise known as version 2004, has reached EOL ( End of Life ) December 14, 2021, therefore Microsoft is no longer supporting it. This means you are most likely missing updates to the OS Norton requires. Update your version of Windows via Windows Updates and restart the system. Verify if the issue you are seeing persists.
