How to fix utilities 16 killing Indexing

Start Norton Utilities 16, Go to performance, Select clean your registry, Verify deep clean is checked

Run “clean your registry”, Select the deep scan results

Right click on one of the results in the deep scan results

Add this selection to the ignore list by selecting “Add Registry Value to the ignore list”. Do not pick the listing saying “Add Registry Subkey to the Ignore list”. This should change the checkmark to an exclamation point in the checkmark.

Do this for all the results in the deep scan result

This will stop all windows 7 indexing resets, including Microsoft office and any other indexing you have already built. hope this helps, this issue was killing me.
