Help! I have a required on-line proctored exam to take using Pearson Vue and Norton 360 seems to be blocking it.
Peason "Vue" on-line exams require that ports 80(http), 443(https) and 1935 (video streaming) be open to them. They also have a list of URLs which need to be allowed through, such as: http://*.pearson.com & https://*.pearson.com, http://*.pearsonvue.com & https://*.pearsonvue.com
I've looked at all the settings and can't find a way to open specific ports or particular URL's using Norton 360. Temporarily shutting off Norton protection for duration of the session ( disable smart firewall, disable auto-protect ) didn't seem to help and also didn't seem to ENABLE windows Defender so I could change the settings in Defender, which I think does have slots for allowing URLS and ports.
If I can't do that, how can I shut off ALL of Norton without uninstalling it so that Windows Defender Firewall can accomplish this?
