How can I prevent Norton from interrupting me with sudden “install the rest of the protection” pop-ups? Noton keeps on bothering me regardless of what I am doing at the moment, breaking my concentration like just now. Once I have declined, Norton should respect my choice and do not bother me, but they don’t. They seem to have decide to irritate me up to the point of uninstall it, and opt for another vendor. That is, if I don’t find a solution to prevent Notron to dis-regard my choice to not install the rest of they solution such as password manager, norton search, etc.

that is a bug in the 24.xx version becurse it dont do it in the 22 but i dont now somthing aboute it
what version do you got they is sending out a 24.11 there is only a major bugfix it is so new it dont even got a patch note there is first new thing in the 24.12 hope that fix you problem
If you have an older installer, uninstall the current version of your Norton with this removal tool: https://www.norton.com/nortonremover
Perform a removal only and reboot. Use the older version installer and install your Norton product again. When install is complete disable “automatic update” in settings. Use this link for the Intelligent Updater, it will keep your definitions updated.
The object is to prevent reinstallation of version 24.xx automatically until such time, its no longer BETA, all the issues are worked out and released in a manner we the user can use to our advantage.
