How to Renew Norton with a new Product Key

I have Norton 360, is it possible to renew my product with a product key that is bought from Amazon. How can it be done?

I am unable to renew my subscription, I purchased a Norton product and have the product key. I have tried contacting support:
via chat, got an auto assistant, who didn’t understand my question, would not put me through to a human
sat on the phone in a queue for over an hour waiting, no one answered, so I gave up.
Tried downloading the software again, that has only caused me to use up another license and still will not accept the product key???
I literally don’t know what to do

Just tried again and they want to remote access to my device to add the new subscription.
Surely not???

And when you refused “remote access”.

Auto renewal is activated on my account.
I’ve always contacted support to request new product key is added to my current subscription remaining days. This has always been added with no issue and without remote access.
Why now would they need remote access to add the key?

Always, or just for adding new Key?

Norton support…by my experience…usually requests “remote access”.
I usually refuse and then we get on with whatever my issue.

And when you refused “remote access”.
Norton support refused to add Amazon key to your current remaining days?

Maybe, try again…different agent may offer different response.

Maybe, add new Key and then request lost remaining days be added back.
Maybe, wait for last day and manually add new Key.

I refused remote access and they said they couldn’t help me.

I’ll register new Key to my Norton account and activate auto renewal…and then contact support - request new Key term added to current term.

  • Sounds like you’ve done the same.

Maybe, they’re getting “rewards” now for remote access sessions.

Resolved now.
Had to add new product key first then remaining days were added by chat!

I wanted to renew my 360 subscription with product key I’d bought from Amazon. What a nightmare! Had to go through my email address 3 times, even though I used the phonetic alphabet! He initially wanted to create a new subscription, adding the days left on my old one. He said that I’d need to uninstall the software and reinstall it. When I asked if I would have to do that same for ALL my devices, he had the outstanding idea that it would be easier to just add a year to my existing subscription. Hoo-bloody-ray!
