How to save/print/compare NIS2011 general firewall rules?

How does one copy and save the current NIS2011 general firewall rules in a standard, human readable form?

One can't copy the rule set from the non-resizable Settings window.  Also, what is displayed is incomplete (for instance, ports are missing) so one must drop down into the view for each rule, and then click on tabs in order to determine the exact rule, and then manually record the results for each rule.  Each complete rule is never displayed all at once, and what one sees can't be copied using standard copy/paste tools.  The manual effort required to record all the current general firewall rules in their given order is completely absurd.

Is there a solution that, for instance, involves making a copy of a file in order to do a snapshot of the complete set of existing general rules or some adjunct utility that does this?

A similar problem goes for the uncommon protocols, which are displayed in a blasted non-resizable scrolling window that one can't copy then paste into a document.

This is a serious problem for me - we have quite a few PCs on our local LAN all running NIS2011, but their communications behavior is asymmetric.  I'd like to be able to examine and compare snapshots of their complete firewall rules to check for consistency and function.  It is essentially impossible to do this - the manual effort is excessive, and furthermore, for debugging purposes, it is best to have quick snapshots.

If there are solutions, I'd appreciate hearing what they are.

Thanks

Hi Greensleeves:

There no easy way to do this using non-commercial/home user type software in your application. The Corporate versions offer a great deal more standardization for larger LANs.
