How to sign in to Norton NIS 21.0 desktop interface

I have just set up NIS 21.0 on my new laptop and notice that unlike my older laptop the interface is not signed in. I tried signing in using my norton account information. It just says incorrect username or password. I am using the same details that I use to sign in to my secure Norton account, where I downloaded the program from and the login and password work there. Confused as to whether I need to be signed in and if so what details it is looking for.

I can sign into idsafe and can also sign into my secure online norton account. It is the interface that appears when you open Norton Internet Security that says in the top right hand side "Sign in". I hadn't noticed this before but when I checked my old laptop it does say signed in as "email address".

Solved. I found out I had both a Norton account and a Norton Manage account, using the same email address but different passwords. The interface wanted the manage one. I have changed them to the same password to avoid confusion.

Both Norton Account and Norton Management shares the same credentials. If you have changed your password in Norton Management, same applies for Norton Account also. So use the new password whenever you are signing into Norton (Norton Account, Norton Management, IDSafe, main UI interace of product etc.)
