How to uninstall NIS 2012 COMPLETELY

I want to uninstall nis 2012 completely and permanently (reason...see screenshot http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/847/unledevd.png/ ).  How to do that, wthout future bugs and problems, because I think try other product  Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad english.

I think it's a shame that so many are experiencing problems with NIS 2012. Something must be done urgently or give us more information so we know that something is going on. What are the plans? Should we users with problem go back to 2011?

Kind regards:

I agree with Johannes.

Not enough information is being made available to potential users concerning the status of the various issues that have been identified.  Also, some of issues seem to be very serious, involving problems with the grid of Symantec servers in the Internet "cloud".  We are not given enough information about how Symantec proposes to solve the multiple issues that involve both the locally-installed client software and the 'cloud' based server software existing on the Symantec servers.

Yes, I definitely uninstall NIS, although this is the first error, which i'm seen. Error occur, when disabling modules of nis, because fifa 12 lags. After disable nis, lag is missing. I will try without any security package or antivirus...may be.

Reinstalling the program can't fix the problem, because my windows 7 and nis is new and fresh. What will change reinsalling? Thank you for help.

p.p after uninstall, should I manual delete any keys in registry?

If for some reason your inital download/install was  corrupted , or you had another security program installed which was not totally removed (I know you said Win 7 and NIS was new), or you have added another security program that runs in real-time can cause a corrput install.

Running the Norton Removal Tool as PaupauZ suggests should remove the stray registry entries.

Hello gerrado

There are many causes of lag when playing computer games whether offline or online. There are settings in NIS which can be changed to keep NIS from interferring with your game while you are playing. I would NOT suggest playing online games without any security. I would NOT suggest being online without any security. You may eliminate the lag without security program, but you are inviting more trouble than lag. There are so many variables that can cause lag in a game. If you have everything at default settings, there can be changes made to eliminate  or lessen the lag. Thanks.

I usually search for any Norton/Symantec keys and delete them (assuming you aren't using any of their other products.)

Here is a very IMPORTANT word of warning about deleting keys from the registry. Unless you really know what you are doing in the registry, it is best to leave the registry alone. Being that this is a new Windows 7 install, you may not be familiar with the new registry entries. One wrong deletion can leave your computer unworkable. Thanks.

I must agree, if you don't know what you are doing, don't. It is not necessary but I have been playing with the registry since the days of Windows 95 and am quite familiar with it.

Hello gerrardo

Can you please tell us where you purchased your NIS 2012?  If you got your NIS 2012 using a download, it is possible that you got a bad download which might have caused this problem. Perhaps a good removal of the current install of NIS 2012 and then a reinstall might fix the problem.

Hello.

I'm download NIS from here: http://www.kaldata.net/comments.php?catid=1&id=32771
Btw I reinstall the NIS and after day, have error http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/840/dssdfddf.png/ . How to fix that? And don't tell me reinstall again, clean with norton tool and restart 2-3 times, etc, because i did it.

The problem is fixed. Start \ Control Panel \ Uninstall a Program, rIght click on NIS 2012 and choose uninstall. After that 2-3 time clean with norton removal tool and reboot computer. After that install Avira Internet Security  2012. And problems gone.
