You can just download a version from the Symantec website. No problem

Why is this procedure so well hidden? I’ve gone in circles for a long time trying to find out how/where to do the upgrade on a second computer. Is Symantec hoping that customers will give up in disgust and pay for a copy they should not have to pay for?

I appreciate the feedback. This is a major area of focus for the support content team over the last year - we've made some progress but I can see that we still have a ways to go.

 

One question - if you purchased online, did you receive an email confirmation with information on how to acquire the download or did it detail the purchase only?
