I having the same problem with ccsvhst.exe using all my CPU and freezing the PC, I was using NIS, changed to the multi-device and now this nightmare, I have been using Norton for some time, but I want this fixed or I woill find someone else end of story
Did you properly remove the first version, including using the Norton removal tool, before installing the new version? If not, that will have to be done before doing a fresh install.
deleted the old one got in touch with the online guys at Norton, they walked me througyh the fix, great news all fixed and they went out of their way to help I am most impressed
