I am suddenly unable to log into my Go to Meeting account to host a webinar. I can get on the Citrix website and l log in to see my account but when I try to enter a meeting and type in my log in info it says"unable to connect please check your online connection"
I spent an hour online with Citrix and they said my hardware was fine and there was plenty of space on my hard drive. Does anyone know how to fix this? They said that it has to be due to an update from Norton, because I have been using it for over two years with no problem.
By selecting allow in the programme control of the firewall the firewall is not checking the programme, if you would like to do the below then you may be able to set the rule back to auto in the future, having said that there are other levels of security that should catch any problems if there are any. You may also like to contact the company concerned explain the situation you have encountered and enquire if they can inform norton when they update the software as this can be the cause of the issue.
Norton evaluates false positives so if you think your getting a false positive please click on the link below to submit it with the relevant details to access the file. Norton can assess it for being a false positive if it is a false positive Norton should release an update shortly for the file(s) concerned.
It's not a false positive and that has nothing to do with it.
The setting "allow" will allow the program to receive "unsolicited" connections. Connections that do not start or originate from the program. I need to use the same settings for Radmin and VNC.
"Auto" only opens the ports to the executable when the connection is started by the program. Such as what happens with "TeamViewer". It does not let the program "listen" or as some firewalls call it "act as a server".
I think the new version and\or updates have tightened down the rules a little.
