I can´t log in my Norton 360 Platinum installation after a Windows 11 24H2 reinstallation

Hi,
i can´t log in my Norton 360 Platinum installation after a Windows 11 24H2 reinstallation.
Version 24.10.9535 (Build 24.10.9535.880), all updates are installed,

The error message is:
Your request cannot be completed at this time. We are working on this issue.
Try again later. (Error code: -2016)
Ihre Anforderung kann derzeit nicht abgeschlossen werden. Wir arbeiten an diesem Problem.
Versuchen Sie es später erneut. (Fehlercode: -2016)

I tried to fix the problem with Norton Activation Repair.

The error message is:
This tool requires an internet connection. Correct the problem or try again later.
Dieses Tool erfordert eine Internetverbindung. Korrigeren sie das Problem oder versuchen sie es später noch einmal.

The problem exists after a complete reinstallation, no firewall is active. Norton 360 reinstallation didn´t fix the problem.
How can I fix the problem.

Hello Soldi. Can I ask whether a VPN is enabled? I noticed that with each system restart, the Norton VPN service starts on its own accord and will show in Windows Task Manager. I ended the task in Task Manager then went into system services and stopped the Norton VPN service and set it to manual startup. Have a look at that and see if this is the situation on your side. If so perform my suggestions and restart the computer then recheck.

the task “VPN Service” in the Task Manager was enabled, disabling task and manual startup isn´t possible. Without login, the feature isn´t possible to aktivate.

Can I get a download link to a non “Norton 360 Platinum” version? I think, then, i can get access to my log in without the VPN Service.
At my account, I can only download the 360 platinium version.

You cannot change any services settings from within Task Manager. You must open a run command, type in services.msc press enter. In the services list find Norton VPN and double click. You can stop the service if its still running then change the “startup type” to manual. That will prevent the VPN from automatically loading its services when Windows boots.

I´ve changed the “startup type” to manual, after Windows new start, there is no improvement. Without log in, i can´t change the Secure VPN function in Norton.

After unsuccessful contact to norton support (about 1,5h of testing different installation possibilities norton 360 platinium), I´ve solved the problem by installing Norton 360 for gamers and changing the serial number.
