I installed Norton360 but it is not recognized by old program

Hello:

I just tried to install a new copy of Norton 360 to continue my protection, but the exsisting program does not recognise it and will not update.  Does anyone have any suggestions.  I have used Norton for many years and this is the first time that something like this has occured

Are you using the features within the program to do the upgrade/update? If you are installing a totally new copy of the product over an existing installed copy it may not be seamless depending on the versions.

With a bit more information about your system and exactly what you want to accomplish I'm sure we can provide you with the necessary assistance.
