every year i buy norton for five devices. the cost is usually less than £30. when the subscription is nearly up i get an email or message from norton saying the subscription is nearly up and then it will automatically renew and cost over £80. i then cancel the renewal process and when it is due a buy another norton for five devices.
my problem is that even though i have cancelled the automatic renewal and instead buy the disc or code. i will still get a message from norton telling me my subscription is due for renewal and get a request for more money. i would have thought the software would recognise that a new subscription has actually been started and not send out these messages.
how do i stop these messages every time i renew or is it just a case of ignoring the messages. i can only assume it is due to either poor programming or that is just a way to con people out of more money.

30-45 days before my current Norton 360 term expires...regardless of how I maintain/pay for...my subscription. Norton notifies me to Renew. I ignore Norton Renew notices.
