I’m getting overwhelmed with the QuickBooks Error 12007 while trying to access the server due to a network timeout. What to do now?

Well, you are required to update the QuickBooks Desktop first. Else, you won’t be able to eradicate QuickBooks Error 12007. Here’s how:

  1. To begin with close the QuickBooks application.
  2. Next, click twice on the QuickBooks icon and hold the Ctrl key until the No Company Open window appears. 
  3. Navigate to the Help tab.
  4. Click on Update QuickBooks Desktop and then hit the Update Now tab. 
  5. Furthermore, tickmark the Reset Update box to clear all the previous update downloads. 
  6. Tap on Get Updates to start the download.
  7. Once the update completes, restart QuickBooks.
  8. If prompted, accept the option to install the new release.
