after I reset my OS i removed norton from the other pc
what happens is i download norton antivirus plus and it installs then says time to restart and it does but when it comes back to windows its not installed
also i tried the norton removal tool it said no products are found

Another question, since you removed Norton from the other PC did you also remove that license seat from your subscription in your Norton account? Do you have a subscription for multiple devices or just one device?

I CAN suggest that your Windows install be updated to version 23H2. Version 22H2 has reached end of support. Yes, I have Norton installed on all my Windows 10 / 11 / Mobile devices. If your Windows 11 install is running in S mode you will need to install the Norton App from the Microsoft store for your device.

I reset my Windows operating system, but I still have Norton Antivirus listed in my services. Additionally, there’s a folder named “Norton” that I am unable to delete because it says it’s in use. I’ve uninstalled Norton and also used the Norton removal tool, so I’m wondering why Norton is still present on my PC.

Has you remove it from you norton account just becurse you remove it you also has to remove you licens from you account that is possible you problem

I had norton anti-track on the pc before the os reset yes
and I had norton ultimate utility app
I have something also called norton dump process in my task manager and it wont let me end task it says access denied…and this is after I reset my os
and I have the anti virus in services and nortol tools in services how do I remove theses…
I have went with Bitdefender because I couldn’t install norton after I did my os reset it wouldn’t install for idk what reason
so how do I remove theses from my services (Norton Anti-virus-Norton Tools- also in my task manager is a Norton Dump process I cant end task…

I used the tool restarted went to my services and it still shows

and it shows

Do you find Norton Anti-Track &or Norton Ultimate Utilities ?
yes both programs are still in the background i just looked in my system config menu and it shows 3 apps only one is running is nortonavdumper64 and i cant disable any of them when i do it just reenables so how does this work even if i reset my os again i will still have norton crashing in background trying to startup even though its uninstalled? thanks for taking time to help me i been having lag recently and i want to eliminate background apps especially if they are showing in event viewer as crashing and not sstarting like theses programs are doing after i uninstalled them
and you tried uninstalling both programs with scouring for remnants?
