How long have you had your subscription? If less than 60 days, you can request a refund. Norton Support

If more than 60 days, you will not get a refund. What you need to do is go into your Norton Account and turn off Automatic renewal for your product. Click on the user icon at the top right and then click on My Subscriptions. Find your current subscription and you should see an Auto Renewal link to the right side.

Then, also in your Account, remove your billing information from your profile, to ensure nothing else can be charged to your card.

So do I have done the first part cancelled my auto renewal but cannot get any further. Not bothered if I cannot get a refund

Be sure you go into your Norton Account Profile settings and remove your payment information to ensure there are no mistakes that might try to charge something to your credit card.

I don’t know how to remove my payment information. Since I canceled my Norton account, you shouldn’t take anything out!

Are you within 60 days of purchase date?

All I got was an email saying I had changed my information. Not sure what that means whether my account is closed or not. No refund but as I said no bothered just want to get rid of my Norton account. Fed up with struggling to get this done

Are you able to or Are you not able to access your Norton account?

Community urges users that do not want automatic renewal to cancel recurring subscription service and also remove billing information.

Community urges users that request refund to confirm recurring subscription service is cancelled and billing information is removed…after receiving refund.

Just got off the phone with Norton Technical support. It was not a good call since that the majority of the call was spend repeating words, trying to spell out words, no command of English and background noise that completed interrupted the call on several occasions. For a topic and resolution that should have taken 30 minutes to resolve, because of the interruptions and the misunderstandings, it took over an hour to resolve. At the end of the time, I am still not sure that the results will be what I requested. A very poor call center experience and it demonstrated the lack of professionalism and respect that Norton has for its customers. Maybe Norton should consider the vacuum cleaner business because they really suck at communication.
