I would like to file a complaint

Several hours ago I discovered that my Mastercard was billed twice last April for my Norton 360 service. Last year when the renewal rolled around, I was offered an update to the Premium service. I agreed to this and downloaded the upgraded software. However, a few days later, without my knowledge, my account was also charged for the standard Norton 360 software which I no longer use. This occurred because the service was listed with automatic renewal. But I received no notice about this and was not told to cancel the automatic renewal on the standard service. I believe that this was an error on Norton's part and I am due a refund for this overcharge. However, when I contacted the billing department, I was informed that the refund policy only covered 60 days from the date of payment. I think this is unfair, since the error was not due to anything that I knew about. I suppose I could have caught the error by monitoring my Mastercard billing more carefully each month, but it never occurred to me that Norton would do something like this.
