Idea / Feedback for Norton Vault and Password Manager

One of the frustrations I have encountered with the Password Manager and the Notes Manager is that the font used is 1. sans serif and 2. not proportional.

This can make it hard to distinguish between some characters - for example '1' and 'l'  , 'O' and '0'   etc. there are others. I usually replace these characters if they occur in my password - yes it reduced the entropy, but not that much.

The solution to this is simple - please could Norton provide the ability to change the font within the Notes Manager (ideally to courier new). Note that I'm not saying that you should save the associated font meta-data - I appreciate that would be extra (and maybe unecessary) work - just the ability to change the font within the GUI - nothing more than that. You can still save the raw data without font info.

Further to that - it would be great to have a tickbox (like the ones for numbers and special characters) to remove those characters that are potentially problematic at the point of password replay. Many people write down passwords on paper (I occasionally do) and some characters are prone to being written poorly. Examples are 'i'  - where people write fast and forget to place the dot above the short vertical line.  I have a system where if I ever do write down a password - I place an underscore beneath any character that is capitalised (as well as capitalising it obviously), but many more casual users might not do this - and by implementing this simple idea - it can just make the world a little bit of a better place for casual users.

Thankyou.

Peter.
