Identity safe logon failure

When i shut down my computer, my identity safe password and info is all lost. additionally when I try to set up another account typing in letters, i get a number response.

Welcome,

We're going to need a little help from you before we can attempt to help you. What is your operating system and which version of what Norton product are you running? Can you give us any additional information about the shutdown and what you were doing before that? A normal shutdown should not cause any problems for any of your programs. This would seem to indicate that something else is happening.

Thanks im running windows 7 home on an HP COMPUTER i have the comcast version of norton.
The number vs letters also happens in the yahoo and google search bar as well as the identity safe logon

Sorry, your last message didn't print. In the past this has been do to compatibility mode not being active.

Please go to Control Panel > Programs & Features and seek out Constant Guard Protection Suite, ID Vault, Guided ID and Xfinity (Comcast) Toolbar) and CA Real-Time Protection and remove them all or any that appear. 

 

 Reboot.

 

This should not affect your Norton Scurity Suite installation.

 

Please post back with results.
