Identity Safe stopped askin me to save login

All of a sudden my Norton Toolbar identity safe stopped asking if I wanted to save login information to sites. Is there some switch or something I can check?

Hi Devnullore,

Can you please give us some more information on this.

What browser you use? And is Norton Toolbar enabled on that browser?

Also from Identity safe settings UI(Main UI->Identity Protection->Manage Identity Protection) check the below settings:

1.Should be logged into your profile

2.Identity safe options->Securely collect my logins.... ->Should be in enabled state.

Please try and let me know if you need any more information.

Prasanna.

I use IE9 and yes it's enabled and has worked flawlessly till this morning.  BUT, I ran The Windows Club's IE fixer utility:

Cleared out my cache and rebooted and now it's fine.

Internet Explorer has a RESET button that often fixes problems and one can clean out caches eetc with functions already in WIndows so I'm not that much in favor of more drastic approaches unless these fail.

And I don't like that website suggesting I clean my registry with their tool .......

But I'm neurotic abaout that ....

HI,

I agree about the registry thing but I am very familiar with that tool it re-registers all the DLL and OCX files belonging to IE9 without changing any user settings. If that had not worked I would have reset IE9

Actually the guys over at The Windows Club make some pretty good tools. MOST are pretty handy and bug free. One however, Windows Folder Background Changer, is full of bugs and I am all about system bling. I use almost all the Stardock stuff to sweeten up my desktop, cursors and icons etc... But with the background changer you never know if the background you chose is going to work or not VERY inconsistent.

Spend some time at that web site you will see what I mean.

Cheers,

Given that even Microsoft almost certainly does not know what goes on inside WIndows I hesitate to mess with it.

But if I do I do try to remember to image it while it is still working ....
