A suggestion for Symantec. I rely heavily on the form filling capabilities of the identity safe (I am blind). Could you modify it so that it recognizes the field called "CVN" or "CVN number" ? Most online vendor's forms use this title instead of "Security Code" when using credit cards. As it goes now, I have to open the identity safe, edit a card and copy the security code then close all the identity safe windows then paste the code into the form's CVN field. Kind of a pain.
Top notch suggestion for a feature that has needed improving for some time. I run into the same issue on occasion. Not all shopping sites, or those where you're purchasing something, require the CVN number, but as you said, most do. Sometimes ID Safe doesn't fill that field, other times it does. Might depend on the website. That's where this next part comes in.
I read you are visually impaired. If you, or another person could use the 'Report Issue' feature. When you are on the exact webpage where the form isn't filling correctly, click Identity Safe on the Norton Toolbar. Then click the Report Issue option. A separate Norton Feedback page will open, with the URL of the problem webpage, already loaded into the correct field of the feedback page.
There is a field for your email address, (I don't think it's required).
There are options for you to checkmark that apply to your issue.
These are:
Didn't fill login credentials properly.
Didn't capture login credentials properly.
Some problem with login fields.
Didn't fill in a form.
Filled in a form incorrectly.
Other.
Check all that apply.
There is a box to fill in additional information if need be.
When all done, check the form over and click Send Feedback.
I have submitted some webpages myself, but they are not fixed overnight. The ones I have submitted are still the same and that's close to a year ago.
Probably something to do ?, to turn off after the Identity Safe menu in the toolbar, fill in the fields for login and password data from the Identity disappeared Safe. If the page is open, you can log into your account.
I agree with the suggestion, particularly since ID Safe is not only an online login and form assistant, but also a conveniently available secure data base for sensitive personal operational information and useful outside of browsers.
