Idle Time Optimizer with Solid State Drives (SSD)

For owners of solid state drives. Is it best to turn off the Idle Time Optimizer?

Because SSD's don't need to be defragmented since Windows Trim removes junk data. I have defragmentation turned off completely.

So basically I was just wondering if I should turn off the Idle Time Optimizer.

I own a SSD as well. First thing  I did is turning it off, just in case. I don't need the idle time optimizer either.

However it seems Norton is using Windows DEFRAG service to defrag hard drives.

Yeah I turned off the Idle Time Optimizer after I posted this.

Just wanted to confirm with other SSD users or Symantec if it wasn't really necessary. Symantec should state on their website that Idle Time Optimizer is not necessary when you use an SSD.
